Teen Hospital Volunteers Recognized By Kmc

Local teens were recently recognized by Kootenai Medical Center for contributing record numbers of volunteer hours to the hospital during the summer volunteer season.

Sarah Fahey received recognition for 900 hours of service. Rachel and Sara Kelly, who are sisters, were both honored for 400 hours of service in their first year as members of the KMC Teen Volunteer Program.

A record 200 volunteers completed the summer season this year and donated over 17,000 hours to KMC during the three-month season.

The following local teachers have been chosen by past students to be included in the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers 1996 edition: Wallace High School Janet Adams, Frederick Ketchell Bardelli and Douglas England. Wallace Intermediate School Darlene Bokelman.
