Discount Theater Opens Today

From Staff And Wire Reports

A new discount movie theater opens today in Hayden.

The Coeur d’Alene Discount Cinema, at the corner of Prairie and Highway 95, will charge $1.50 for children 16 and under and adults before 6 p.m. After 6 p.m., adult tickets cost $2.95.

The four-screen theater, owned by the Garland Discount Theater in Spokane, was scheduled to open Friday, but cancelled shows because construction was not finished. Customers who came Friday received free movie passes. , DataTimes
