After 10 years of turning North Carolina into a football power, Mack Brown has taken the job of trying to return Texas to national prominence as its head coach.

Temple University named Bobby Wallace football coach. Wallace had an 82-36-1 record in 10 seasons at North Alabama, where he won three consecutive NCAA Division II titles.

No. 19 Missouri is the unanimous choice to be invited to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, providing there aren’t any upsets in Saturday’s conference championship games.
