Dear Heloise: My Sound Off irritation is this: the liquid cold and decongestant products’ measuring cups that can’t be easily read. At present, the cups are clear or off-white, and the measuring marks are very difficult to see, even in a bright area.

I suggest they make the measuring marks on the cup black or a bright color that can be read easily. We senior citizens who use bi- and trifocal glasses have a real hard time reading those measurements as they are now. - Joe Wilson, Falling Waters, W.Va.

Your hint should be noted by all liquid cough medicine manufacturers. This is a potentially very dangerous dilemma that could easily be taken care of. Thank you for pointing it out. - Heloise xxxx
