Edible Landmarks
Wed., Feb. 5, 1997
Roses are red, violets are blue, but there’s all colors of cookies and you can eat them, too!
Spokane’s Cookies by Design bakes up an array of edible bouquets with a choice of more than 300 cookie styles, from the Spokane assortment - featuring the Riverfront Park clock tower, pavilion, red wagon, arena and lilacs (pictured here) - to something simpler, like hearts (remember what’s two Fridays from now?)
For a truly tasteful valentine, this year, say it with flour.
Price: $5 for single decorated cookies, $11-21 for 1-3 cookies with mug and $17.50-$62.50 for baskets of 3-12 cookies (balloons extra).
Available: In Spokane at Cookies by Design, 5503 N. Wall (324-2425).
