Alpine skiing

Snowmobiling

Forest Service officials encourage snowmobilers in the Wallace Ranger District to use trails at higher elevations and ridgetops when possible to reduce encounters with big game.

Grudge match snowmobile drag racing begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mullan football field to fund grooming in Shoshone County. Sanctioned drag races also set for Sunday at Horse Haven airstrip. Info: (208) 682-3814.
