Area Graduates Enlist, Leave For Basic Training
Christopher D. Misita, a 1996 Post Falls High School graduate, has enlisted in the Army as a Bradley fighting vehicle system mechanic and recently departed for basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.
Misita, son of Ron Christianson and Bonnie Misita, both of Post Falls, qualifies for a $4,500 cash incentive due to test scores and enlistment choices.
Jimmie J. Delbridge, a 1995 Post Falls High School graduate, has enlisted in the Army as a medical specialist and recently departed for basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Mo.
Delbridge, son of John and Faye Delbridge of Coeur d’Alene, has enrolled in the G.I. Bill for up to $15,403 toward full-time schooling.
Rusty Bergerson, son of Loran and Theresa Bergerson of Post Falls, has enlisted in the Army’s delayed entry program as an M1 ABRAMS tank system mechanic and will leave for basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Mo.
Bergerson, who joined the Army for travel, adventure and money for college, qualifies for a $2,500 cash incentive and has enrolled in the G.I. Bill Program for up to $15,403 toward full-time schooling.
John S. Brumley, son of John and Diane Brumley of Coeur d’Alene, has enlisted in the Army’s delayed entry program as an infantryman and will depart for basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., in March.
Brumley, who joined the Army for money for college and physical and mental challenges, qualifies for up to $20,000 under the Army College Fund program.
Zachary D. Willet, a 1996 Coeur d’Alene High School graduate, has enlisted in the Army’s delayed entry program as a record telecommunications operator-maintainer and recently departed for basic training at Fort Leonardwood, Mo.
Willett, son of Betty and Jim Hopkins of Hayden Lake, joined the Army for skill training, experience and to serve his country.
