Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: After years of frustration trying to keep my lingerie drawer organized and the slippery fabrics unwilling to stay folded in the neat order I placed them, I purchased bright-colored rectangular plastic mesh baskets at my local department store and proceeded to organize the lingerie.

Now, this is the best-organized drawer in my bedroom. The drawer holds four mesh baskets of hosiery, briefs, bras and miscellaneous.

What is so nice about this is that now I can easily rotate usage of undergarments, and I can place them in some semblance of order.

No more jumbles of lingerie, which literally floated away at a touch. I found these baskets so helpful that I organized my husband’s sock drawer.
