Body Of Baby Found In Portable Toilet

From Staff And Wire Reports

The body of a baby boy was found in a portable toilet on Friday at a berry farm, the Pierce County sheriff’s office said.

A 21-year-old migrant worker, who was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, told doctors she was about four months pregnant, sheriff’s spokesman Curt Benson said.

But he said, “this is not a fetus. This is a close to, if not, full-term baby.”

An autopsy will provide additional details, he said.

The young woman had already been taken to the hospital when a cleaning crew found the body in one of the portable toilets, Benson said.
