Plummer On Probation
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer, facing felony sex abuse charges, struck a plea bargain and received two years probation.
Plummer, accused of groping four women in March at a Tempe, Ariz., nightclub, faced four felony counts of sex abuse that could have led to eight years in prison.
Before the start of a preliminary hearing, Plummer pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and guilty to one misdemeanor assault count that was in the original criminal complaint.
Judge Gregory Martin of Maricopa County Superior Court sentenced Plummer to two years probation, fined him $1,020 and ordered him to perform 100 hours of community service.
