A Hearty Irish Breakfast
What better way to top off the mornin’ on St. Patrick’s Day than with a wee bit of oatmeal from the Emerald Isle?
McCann’s steel-cut Irish Oatmeal consists of pellet-like oats that are a far cry from the thin, rolled flakes we typically see stateside. They cook up into a creamy, hearty porridge, awaiting the addition of buttermilk, brown sugar or honey.
For the less patient, there’s a flakier, quick-cooking version that also makes a mean Irish oatmeal cookie. Erin go bran!
