Nic Wrestlers Get Third, Fourth

At 118 pounds North Idaho College’s Shaun Williams placed third in the Cowboy Open at the University of Wyoming, going 5-1 on the day.

With a record of 4-2 for the day, North Idaho’s heavyweight Roger Neff placed fourth after losing in the semifinals. He had to forfeit the third-fourth-place match on an injury default because of a cut he sustained in the semifinals.

Williams took his only defeat in the semifinals when he lost 15-10. Williams was thrown twice early on to go down 10 points in the match. In his third-fourth-place match, he defeated Carl Valley from Northwest Wyoming 13-10 in a match where the opponents exchanged the lead. , DataTimes
