Analysis
There is one critical difference between these two teams: Seattle can score; New Orleans needs Rand McNally to locate an enemy end zone. The Saints have 13 touchdowns in 10 games. Seattle’s defense, minus Cortez Kennedy, Shawn Springs and possibly Bennie Blades, should be relieved to see Heath Shuler’s touchdowns-to-interceptions ratio (2 to 12). The Seahawks pressured San Diego’s Craig Whelihan on 26 of 29 pass attempts last Sunday. A repeat effort today could lead to a rout, particularly if returner Ronnie Harris holds onto the ball and Seattle’s offense (averaging 36.3 points the last three games) can convert against the Saints.
