Dear Heloise: I live in the cold state of Montana, and one night I didn’t want to get out of my warm waterbed to put lotion on my legs.

I came up with the idea of putting the tube of lotion in the corner of the bed. The next night, it was pleasantly warm and felt wonderful on my cold legs. I love it, and it has been a treat to me ever since. Loretta Frickel, Park City, Mont.

Dear Heloise: My youngest son, Jonathan, came up with the perfect solution for those sugar ice-cream cones that always end up dripping from the pointed bottom.

He simply took a miniature marshmallow and stuck it on the bottom. It not only stopped the drips, but it added an extra-tasty ending to his ice-cream-cone dessert. - Arlene Sullivan, Towaco, N.J.
