Trucker Killed In Tanker Rollover

Associated Press

A Sedro-Woolley man died Friday when the tanker truck he was driving tipped over on a freeway ramp.

Robert L. Brown, 28, was killed in the accident, which occurred shortly before 4 a.m. at the interchange of Interstates 90 and 405.

The truck was fully loaded with 9,500 gallons of liquid propane gas.

The propane did not leak, but the accident prompted authorities to evacuate a nearby office building and close lanes on I-90.

The freeway was closed for several hours while the truck was righted and removed.
