At Luna, “give us this day our daily bread” takes on a whole new meaning.

Along with its standard Italian hearth bread, the Spokane restaurant has started selling flavored specialty loaves each day.

On Monday, it’s sesame ginger; Tuesday, rosemary feta; Wednesday, caraway rock salt; Thursday, sun-dried tomato basil; Friday, onion thyme, and Saturday, honey whole wheat.

And on the seventh day, there’s cinnamon walnut for Sunday dinner.

Price: $3 for the regular hearth bread, $3.50 for the flavored specials (1-1/2-2 pounds).

Available: In Spokane at Luna, 5620 S. Perry (448-2383); you can call a day in advance to reserve loaves, particularly for larger orders.
