Spotlight: Mountain Biking

The Washington Idaho Montana Mountain Bike Series heads into its final month with the Schweitzer Dirt & Rock Tour this weekend on the mountain outside of Sandpoint.

Competition will be held in downhill, dual and cross country. There’ll also be kids races and a fat tire criterium downtown.

Coming up are the Frog Rassle Whip in Chewelah Aug. 29-30 and Ride the Runt at Lookout Pass Sept. 12-13.
