Telect Forms Division For Custom Products

Telect Inc., a Liberty Lake manufacturer of connectivity products for the telecommunications industry, announced it will spin off a new division to focus on custom panel, cabinet, rack and frame configurations of Telect’s and other companies’ products.

The Integrated Systems Group has existed informally for years, but will now receive additional resources. An example of a common application would be integrating a home security system with an audio and video system, said Marilyn Dhaenens, Integrated Systems Group director.

She said about 50 employees will be assigned to the new systems group, including many from the Control Products Division, which provides security electronics systems to the corrections industry.
