The Youth First Recreation Center in Post Falls will reduce its arcade hours starting Friday.

The new arcade hours will be from 2:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Youth First, the organization that runs the recreation center, plans to expand its structured activities such as an art program, called Art on the Edge, pine needle and raffia basket making Dec. 21 to 23, youth ministries programs beginning Dec. 6, holiday crafts, holiday dances, line dancing classes and low impact adult aerobics.

Volunteers to help run the recreation center still are needed. Contact Vicki Caughran at (208) 773-3237 to help.

Community organizations such as the North Idaho Blood Bank, the Young Marines, and others rent the largest room in the center, the community room. Anyone interested in renting the 1,800-square-foot community room should contact Linda Seed at (208) 777-8938.
