Produce expected to be available this week at area farmers’ markets (shop early for best selection):

Spokane MarketPlace (Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at First and Jefferson downtown; FINAL MARKET DAY IS DEC. 23): Asian pears, apples, walnuts, winter squash, carrots, fresh and dried herbs; free baby pumpkins while they last.
