University matched Central Valley from close range but was no match when dialing long distance.

The Bears hit 7 of 12 3-pointers and rolled to a 57-39 win over the visiting Titans in Greater Spokane League boys basketball Friday night.

CV got the lead to double figures in the second quarter, but the Titans closed within five in the third before falling back.

Both teams hit 12 shots from inside the arc, U-Hi on 32 shots, CV on 30. The Bears, though, had a big edge in 3s as the Titans only made 3 of 11.

Kyle Boast led CV with 16 points, hitting all four of his 3s. CV also hit 12 of 13 free throws.
