The following offices and services will be affected by the Christmas holiday on Friday.

City garbage service will be one day late for Friday pickup. Post Falls pickup and county service will not be affected.

City, county and state offices will be closed.

Post offices will be closed.

State liquor stores will be closed.

Most banks will be closed.

All area schools will be closed.

Local journalism is essential.
