B Champs Fall To Chewelah

Bryce Meserve came off the bench to score 25 points and also had seven rebounds as Chewelah defeated defending State B boys champion Chief Leschi 65-56 in the Chelan Tournament on Monday.
Josh Parrish had 10 rebounds for Chewelah, which plays Brewster at 4:30 p.m. today.
The Cougars pressed all game and overcame an 8-2 Chief Leschi run to start the second half.

Drew Baker scored 10 points and dished out five assists in his first game back after a hamstring injury as the Eagles defeated the Trojans in the semifinals of the Troy Tournament.

Chrissy Oneal made a 3-pointer and converted a three-point play in the fourth quarter as the Cougars defeated the Bears in the Chelan Tournament.
Oneal also had seven rebounds. Piper Moore had five steals and four rebounds and Michelle Kinley had four assists and four steals.
Nancy Rois and Brianna Brown had 10 points each for Brewster. Chewelah plays Chelan at 6 p.m. today.
