Dozens Left Homeless After Fire At Apartments

A three-alarm fire at an apartment building in this Pierce County community Tuesday morning has left 34 residents homeless.

The Red Cross was helping to find housing for the people burned out of the Sun Park Apartments by the fire at about 1:30 a.m.

Three people were treated for smoke inhalation, but everyone got out of the building without serious injury.

Three units burned, and nine others were damaged by smoke.
