Stoicheff Back From Hospital Stay
House Minority Leader Jim Stoicheff told lawmakers Monday that he’s back in business after spending four days in the hospital with heart problems.
“Thank you for your prayers,” the Sandpoint Democrat said.
Stoicheff entered a Boise hospital Tuesday night after having trouble breathing. He was released Saturday morning and said the problem was related to his medication.
Light-hearted rumors have floated around the statehouse that his wife, Jerry, would run for Stoicheff’s seat after his 13th term expires. However, Stoicheff blew off the remarks with a smile.
“When I’m finished, she’s finished,” he said.
