Beck Road To Undergo Repairs

Beck Road will be closed Wednesday and Thursday to allow the Idaho Transportation Department to pave and realign the road.

The closure will affect traffic on state Highway 53 near the Hauser Lake turnoff. Motorists should use Prairie Avenue as a detour.

When the project is finished, the railroad crossing at the intersection of Beck and Highway 53 will be eliminated. The project is a joint effort of the Post Falls Highway District, the transportation Department and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
