Drum Brothers Concert Tonight At The Met

The Drum Brothers of Montana are in Spokane for a performance at The Met tonight at 7:30.

The four-member rhythm ensemble performs original, West African and other music on a variety of percussion and ethnic instruments.

The group teaches classes and clinics on drumming and drum-making around the United States and Canada.

The performers make their own instruments and also sell drums through their “Art in Motion” store in Arlee, Mont.

The Drum Brothers’ most recent recording, “Power of Rhythm,” was released last March.

Tickets to the concert are $10 in advance, available at G&B Select-a-Seat outlets or call (800) 325-SEAT. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.

For more information on the group, you can visit their Web site at www.montana.com/drumbros.
