Janyce Emily Johnson became the bride of Jesse Dale Ross in an Aug. 29 ceremony at the residence of Thomas and Della Novak.

The bride is the granddaughter of Illa Sheldon and William Howard, Spokane, and the daughter of the late Terri Sheldon. Thomas and Della Novak, Tooele, Utah, are the parents of the groom.

A reception followed the ceremony. The Rosses, who plan to honeymoon later, are living in Spokane.
