Crapo, Mauk Will Debate
The Idaho Spokesman-Review will sponsor a political debate next week between Michael Crapo and Bill Mauk, candidates for U.S. Senate.
The Sept. 21 debate will be at noon at The Spokesman-Review building, 608 Northwest Blvd. in Coeur d’Alene.
Crapo, a Republican congressman, is battling Mauk, a former state Democratic chairman, for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Dirk Kempthorne. Kempthorne is the GOP front-runner in the governor’s race.
The debate is open to the public.
Free tickets must be obtained in advance at The Spokesman-Review building.
Because seating is limited, no one will be admitted to the debate without a ticket.
The Coeur d’Alene debate is the first of four expected throughout the state before the Nov. 3 election.
