Hong Newman reported Wednesday the $15,000 theft of miscellaneous jade, gold and gem stone jewelry from a storage unit in Coeur d’Alene.

Kootenai County sheriff

William Stratford, Missoula, reported March 22 the $4,000 theft of a shoulder-mounted Alaskan bull moose when it was loaned to a friend in the Coeur d’Alene area and not returned to his home in Montana.
