Bullets Hit Homes On Easter Sunday
Bullets slammed into the side of two houses Sunday morning causing $1,500 worth of damage.
One of the bullets ripped through an exterior wall on the north side of a house in the 4400 block of Lupin Lane, struck an oak entertainment center, passed through another wall and out a picture window. The home’s owner, Bradley Yocum, was not home when the shot was fired, and no one was injured.
Next door, Angela Wiese reported hearing a “thump” about 9 a.m. She found a bullet hole on the west side of her house. No one was hurt, and damage was estimated at about $100.
Yocum said his house was hit between 8 and 11 a.m., causing about $1,400 in damage. He told deputies he often hears someone shooting a gun in the evenings across the railroad tracks from his house.
Deputies did not recover bullets from either house and could not determine where the shots came from.
