Raid Nets Pot Worth $75,000

A search of a Wallace house on Sunday turned up $75,000 worth of marijuana plants, police reported.

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s special response team searched a house in the 300 block of High Bank Street and seized growing equipment and 37 plants approximately 1 to 2 feet tall.

A man and a woman at the residence were arrested, and an infant was placed with Idaho Health and Welfare for shelter care.
