Deca Students Place At District Competition

Coeur d’Alene High School students brought home awards from the Distributive Education Club of America district competition held in Moscow earlier this month.

Students and their awards in the individual competition are listed by category.

Apparel and Accessories: Sarah Sazame, first place; Rachell Haste, third place.

Marketing Management: Natalie Brock, first place; Matt Robeson, second place; and Steve Scammell, third place.

Retail Merchandising: Jessica Basler, fourth place.

Vehicles and Petroleum: Robert Findley, fourth place.

Teams that placed and their categories include:

Hospitality and Tourism: Erin Gee and Kathy Fritze, second place.

Sports and Entertainment: Paul Finn and Bret Andrews, second place; David Rhoads and Mollie Ohrt, third place; and Cathy Cottrell and Hale Fields, fourth place.
