Cda Man Held On Drug Charge
A Coeur d’Alene man was arrested Monday afternoon after police said they searched his home over the weekend and found the ingredients to make methamphetamine.
John Raymond Nelmar, 37, turned himself in to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, a felony.
Police searched Nelmar’s home at 520 16th St. at 3 a.m. Sunday and found the ingredients to make the narcotic, said Lt. Walt Roeske.
“There were the makings of a meth lab there, but it was not in actual operation,” Roeske said.
