Private School Hosts Tour, Demonstration

A free, three-hour tour of the Sandpoint Waldorf School is offered Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for interested parents and educators. Parents need not have a child enrolled in the private school to attend.

Instructors at the school will demonstrate how the academic curriculum is presented. Letters and math concepts, for instance, are introduced through pictures. And children start learning to write before they learn to read.

The faculty will answer questions during the last half-hour of the presentation. The Sandpoint Waldorf School is located next to Sandpoint West Athletic Club on Pine Street.
