Behar Wins 1St Interstate

Mike Behar became the first Spokane-area driver to win a race in the Interstate Superstock Racing Series in at least four years by winning the 75-lap feature race Saturday night at Stateline Speedway.
Going back to 1996 records, no local driver had ever won a race in the series. Runner-up Todd With am of Spokane made it a one-two local finish.
Also on Saturday at Stateline, Scott Perry remained unbeaten in his last eight Fever Four Hobby class races.
Friday at Stateline, Randy Lasswell won his third straight Grand American Sportsman race, while Mike O’Brien in Bump-to-Pass and Hobby Stock driver Ron Cates each won their first main event of the season.
