Dr. Paul Anderson Colton, Wash.
Memorial service for Dr. Paul B. Anderson, 77, will be at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pullman. Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Anderson, who was born in Fargo, N.D., died Saturday.
He graduated from high school in Hesperia, Mich.
Dr. Anderson served in the Navy during World War II and earned his fighter pilot wings flying a carrier-based Navy F6F Hell Cat. He was honorably discharged in 1945.
In 1946 he married Phyllis Saner. In 1952 he graduated from Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and they later moved to Platville, Wis., where he began his private practice.
In 1961 they moved to Washington, and Dr. Anderson worked at Washington State University in the Veterinary School of Medicine. While teaching he was a member of the Phi Zeta honor society.
He was a member of the National Board of Swine Practitioners, American Veterinary Association and the Washington State Veterinary Association.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bob Anderson of Pullman and Mike Anderson of Boise; a daughter, Paula Spence of Colton; two brothers, Max Anderson of Mississippi and Jim Anderson of Saginaw, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

June Campion Redmond, Wash.
Memorial service for June Viola Campion, 81, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Cemetery. Green Funeral Home in Bellevue is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Campion who was born in Plaza, N.D., died Monday.
She moved to Spokane in 1941 and worked as an insurance rater for Cravens Dargen Insurance Co. for 10 years.
She later worked for The Crescent department store.
After retiring in 1973, she and her husband began traveling and lived in Ireland and Italy.
Mrs. Campion moved to Redmond in 1997.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Louis M. Campion, died in 1984.
Mrs. Campion is survived by a daughter, Maureen Robertson of Kirkland, Wash.; a sister, Ione Estbold of Tacoma; and six grandchildren.
Stella Watt Inchelium, Wash.
Funeral service for Stella M. (Bedard) Watt, 63, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Michael’s Mission Church in Inchelium. Burial will follow at Hall Creek Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Watt, who was born in Omak, Wash., died Saturday.
She married Harry Watt in 1954.
Mrs. Watt operated a beauty salon in Moses Lake from 1964 to 1970.
Mrs. Watt moved to Keller, Wash., where she worked as a teacher’s aide for three years. She and her husband also owned and operated the Pines Store for 20 years. They sold the store in 1995 and moved to Inchelium.
She was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ken Watt of Inchelium; a brother, Calvin Bedard, Omak; a half-sister, JoAnn Leslie of Keller; and her stepfather, Bud Baker of Inchelium.

Alishia Smith Spokane
Funeral service for Alishia Marie Smith, 18, will be at 1 p.m. today at Fairmount Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Miss Smith died Thursday.
She attended East Valley High School, where she played soccer, ran track and was homecoming princess.
She graduated from West Valley Contract School in 1999.
Survivors include her parents, Steve Smith of Otis Orchards and Jody Smith of Spokane; a brother, Ryan Smith, her grandparents, Marliee and Jerry Eslick, and Bob and Kathy Smith, all of Spokane; and her great-grandmothers, Francis Syler of Spokane and Anne Rutenberg of Reno, Nev.
Doris Myers Spokane
Funeral service for Doris N. Myers, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, Wash. Burial will follow in Sunnyside. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Myers, who was born in Loup City, Neb., died Friday.
In 1930 her family moved to Clarkston, Wash., where she graduated from high school and later from Lewiston Normal School, earning her teaching certificate.
In 1946 she moved to Sunnyside and taught in the school district.
She married Jim Myers, and they later moved to Outlook, Wash., where they had a small farm and dairy herd.
During the early 1960s she taught again for the Sunnyside School District.
Mrs. Myers moved to Cheney in 1965. She later graduated from Eastern Washington State College with a bachelor’s degree in education. In 1968 she began teaching at Lakeland Village.
She retired in 1989, and shortly thereafter she moved to the Spokane Valley.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Outlook Junior Indelook, the Washington Education Association and the Washington State Grange.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Marcia Myers of Spokane, Sue Falk of Liberty Lake and Mary Myers of Seattle; and a sister, Dorothy Phillips of Riverside, Calif.
Gertrude Williams Spokane
Visitation for Gertrude Williams, 77, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m Thursday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
A 33-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Williams died Thursday. She was born in Collins, Ark.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister, Bernice Young of Spokane; a granddaughter and five great-grandchildren.

Virginia Simons Spokane
Memorial service for Virginia Lea Simons, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Riplinger Funeral Home.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Simons died Friday.
Mrs. Simons worked as a payroll clerk for several years at PIE Trucking Co.
She was a member of El Karnak Temple 6, Daughters of the Nile; American Association of Retired Persons; and Teamsters Union Local 582.
Survivors include her husband, Harry; a daughter, Elaine Freeman of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; and two granddaughters.

Darrel LaRue Spokane
Funeral service for Darrel LaRue, 93, was held Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home.
A 49-year Spokane resident, Mr. LaRue died Saturday. He was born in Browns Valley, Minn.
He worked as a farmer for many years and later worked as a heavy-duty mechanic.
He also was an operating engineer and member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 370 for 45 years.
His wife of 53 years, Mabel, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Larry LaRue of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Sharon Wynne of Spokane; a sister, Ione Thomas of Portland; five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Betty Rowley Spokane
Memorial service for Betty I. Rowley, 77, was held Tuesday at Riplinger Funeral Home.
A 60-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Rowley died Wednesday. She was born in Waterville, Wash.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Eagles Lodge, Northeast Community Center and the Widows Support Group.
Her husband, Philip Rowley, died in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Delores Mason of Spokane; a sister, Renoldis Lewis of Spokane; three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Theresa `Tess’ Gallaher Kootenai, Idaho
Rosary service for Theresa C. “Tess” Gallaher, 77, will be today at 7 p.m. at Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sandpoint. Burial will follow at Pack River Cemetery.
Mrs. Gallaher, who was born in De Smet, S.D., died Saturday.
She graduated from high school in South Dakota and from beauty school in Nebraska. She married James Gallaher in 1943 and lived in Seattle, where she worked for Boeing Aircraft.
She moved to North Idaho in 1944 and to Sandpoint in 1951. Mrs. Gallaher moved to Kootenai in 1956 and worked as a personnel director at Bonner General Hospital. She retired in 1992 after 36 years of service.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and was involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
Her husband died in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Pat Gallaher of Yakima; a stepdaughter, Frances Waddell of Spokane; two stepsons, Roland Gallaher of Oregon and Lonnie Gallaher of California; eight sisters, three brothers, seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Darlene Klingaman Rathdrum, Idaho
Service for Darlene Mae Klingaman, 67, will be today at 10 a.m. at the Rathdrum Bible Church. Burial will follow at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Klingaman, who was born in Conde, S.D., died Saturday while vacationing in Montana.
She grew up in South Dakota and graduated from high school in Ritzville, Wash. She married John Klingaman in 1955 and lived primarily in North Idaho. She was a bookkeeper.
She and her husband helped found Rathdrum Bible Church in the early 1970s.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Vickie Gibson of Vancouver, Wash., and Laura Bonner of Lewiston; a son, John Klingaman of Rathdrum; three brothers, Ralph, Roger and Randy Liberty; a sister, Sharon Folmer; and six grandchildren.

William Eggleston Spokane

Mr. Eggleston, who was born in Helena, died Saturday.
He moved to Spokane in 1981, and owned and operated the Cedars Tavern from 1981 to 1993 and Duffy’s Tavern from 1993 to 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Mona; two sons, Timothy and Joseph Eggleston, both of Phoenix; a daughter, Christine Job of Osceola, Wis.; a stepson, Michael Christensen of Knik, Alaska; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

George Tibbett Spokane

An 80-year Spokane resident, Mr. Tibbett died Sunday. He was born in Cocolalla, Idaho.
He worked as a chef in various restaurants in Spokane for several years.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Maxine; three daughters, Sandra Rima, Karen Sobosky and Brenda Epperson, all of Spokane; a sister, Betty Parks of Spokane; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Robert Barnes Ritzville, Wash.
Funeral for Robert B. Barnes, 81, will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Methodist Church in Ritzville. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane. Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Barnes, who was born in Deer Park, died Friday.
He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1936 and later from Kinman Business University.
He moved to Ritzville in 1957.
Mr. Barnes worked as an accountant, an insurance agent and a representative for the Metropolitan Mortgage and Securities in Ritzville.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and the Ritzville Lions Club. He also was a volunteer firefighter for the Ritzville Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty; two daughters, Shari Carlson of Spokane and Brenda Grye of Deer Park; a brother, Glenn Barnes of Belvidere, Ill.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Donald Malby Tacoma

Mr. Malby, who was born in Spokane, died Thursday.
He graduated from Rogers High School, Kinman Business University and Eastern Washington College.
Mr. Malby worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for Fidelity Savings and Loan in Spokane.
He moved to Western Washington in the early 1970s and worked for First Security Savings and Loan. He also worked for Westside Federal Savings and Loan and Bridgeport Professional Pharmacy. He retired in 1999.
He was a member of the Christ Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Ralph Reed of Elk; two brothers, Douglas Malby of Newport, Wash., and Michael Malby of Kalispell, Mont.; and his partner, James Crumby of Tacoma.

Arlan Froemming Spokane

A 36-year Spokane resident, Mr. Froemming died Friday. He was born in Bismarck, N.D.
He worked as a butcher for Albertson’s for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Frances; four sons, Steve Hamlin and David Froemming, both of Spokane, Bob Froemming of Colbert and Mike Froemming of Post Falls; two daughters, Bonnie Railing of Colbert and Judy Upchurch of Spirit Lake, Idaho; a sister, Arden Maas of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Albert Weis Tekoa, Wash.

Mr. Weis, who was born in Odessa, Wash., died Saturday.
He married Helen Kutch in 1967, and they lived in Odessa for a few months before moving to Cashmere, Wash., in 1968.
In 1971 they moved to Spokane, and he worked in the maintenance department of The Crescent department store for seven years.
In 1986 they moved to the Tekoa Retirement Apartments.
He was a member of Tensed Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Ronald Kutch of Melissa, Texas; three daughters, Becky Brede of St. Maries, Phyllis Heter of Lewiston and Marie Knerr of Plains, Mont.; a sister, Olga Weber of Odessa; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Beverly Cleveland Spokane

Mrs. Cleveland, who was born in Boise, died Thursday.
She moved to Spokane in 1941 and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1950.
Mrs. Cleveland married Cecil in 1951.
She worked as a secretary for Tom Smith Realty. She also worked for Kaiser Research Laboratory and Valley Bestway Building Supply.
Mrs. Cleveland was a member of the Valley Ladies Elks Club and did volunteer work at Valley Sunrise Rotary.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Rick Cleveland of Spokane; three daughters, Debbie McCartney of Greenacres, Diane Hansen of Otis Orchards and Kristi Hatch of Veradale; a brother, LaVerne Sullivan of Spokane; and seven grandchildren.

A 34-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Binsfield died Saturday. She was born in Yakima.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert; a son, Gilbert Binsfield of Spokane; a daughter, Tracy Hansen of Spokane; two brothers, Phil and Jim L’Heureuz; five sisters, Teresa L’Heureuz, Rosemary Bernier, Louise Belles, Elizabeth Belles and Barbara Green; and three grandchildren.
