Butler Reports Theft At Compound

Aryan Nations founder Richard Butler reported a Confederate flag, another flag and a sign with the Aryan Nations symbol stolen from his former home at the Aryan Nations compound.

Butler called Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies on Saturday after he received a phone call telling him the flags and signs were missing, deputies’ reports said.

Deputies went out to the scene and could not find the sign or the flags.

A $6.3 million judgment against Butler and the Aryan Nations in September called for all the property at the former compound to be turned over to Victoria and Jason Keenan, the plaintiffs in that case.
