The prospect of a three-way tie for the Great Northern League title grew likely Saturday night after Riverside’s 75-64 overtime win over visiting Pullman.

Kelicia Shorts scored eight of her season-high 20 points in overtime and her Rams finished 26 of 34 from the free-throw line.

Pullman is 9-2, one-half game ahead of Riverside and Lakeside.

Pullman has one game left, Riverside and Lakeside two.

Pullman’s Christa Brossman scored 10 of her 27 in the first quarter. Shorts finished with 15 rebounds and applied tough defense when Pullman’s Debbie Curry attempted a game-winning shot in regulation.

Ellen Shaw scored 11 fourth-quarter points and the visiting Indians used a late 9-0 run to defeat the Bantams.

Clarkston led 35-34 with 2 minutes left, but the Bantams had four turnovers in the final minute. Colville is the No. 1 seed to the District 7 3A tournament and has a bye to the Region IV tournament. Clarkston’s season is finished.
