Missing Boy Turns Up Before Search Begins

An 8-year-old missing skier turned up at the Schweitzer Mountain Resort ski patrol office Sunday evening just as search and rescue volunteers were gathering to look for him.

The skier was reported missing to Bonner County at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The boy was last seen at about noon near Chair 4.

Bonner County Search and Rescue, Big Sky Paramedics and Schweitzer Fire got ready to look for the missing skier, but he arrived at the ski patrol office just as volunteers started to show up.
