The Mica Kidd Island Fire Association is no more.

Association members voted Monday night to dissolve the association and transfer $362,477 in assets to the new district voters narrowly approved last November, according to an association press release.

Vote tallies weren’t available Tuesday.

The 21-year-old association was dissolved by a more than two-thirds majority, the press release stated.
