Spotlight: Pete Athans Presents

Pete Athans, who has led 12 expeditions to Mt. Everest, will present a slide show Thursday at Mountain Gear, 2002 N. Division.

Athans has attempted five different routes from both the Nepalese and Tibetan sides of Everest and has reached the summit five times.

The free slide show will begin at 7 p.m. More info: 325-9000.
