Brossman Helps Pullman Rout 8Th-Ranked Chewelah

Christa Brossman scored 12 of her 26 points in the first quarter Saturday night, and host Pullman jumped to a 15-1 lead before overhauling eighth-ranked Chewelah 65-45 in the Great Northern League.

Brossman had two three-point plays and one 3-pointer during the quick start.

The Greyhounds held the Cougars to two first-half field goals, both 3-pointers by Suzie Walker.

Riverside had 25 steals and a 28-7 edge in offensive rebounds. ML’s Hanna McConnell scored a season-best 19, and added eight rebounds and four blocked shots.
