Radio Show Features Young Musicians

A new public radion program, “From the Top” will be taped in front of a live audience at The Met in Spokane Saturday afternoon.

This show is hosted by concert pianist Christopher O’Riley and showcases young musicians. Jason Moody, a 16-year-old violinist from Sandpoint, and Stephen Beus, an 18-year-old pianist from Othello, Wash., will perform.

Sen. Slade Gorton will also appear at the taping.

The show will be aired at a later date. “From the Top” is based in Boston and may be heard at 11 a.m. Wednesday on KBPX.

The taping is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 1 p.m. Audience warm-ups start at 1:45, and the show begins at 2.

The program may no be suitable for children under 7.
