Since olive oil is enjoying a surge of popularity, it’s no wonder that Olive Oil Potato Chips are showing up on market shelves.

The only ingredients in the cracked pepper variety are russet potatoes, olive oil, cracked pepper and sea salt.

The chips are quite a bit thicker than most name-brand potato chips, providing a mouthful of potatoey taste with each bite.

As an added benefit, you can learn a little “olive oil trivia” from the back of the bag. For example: In the early 1700s, missionaries planted the first olive tree in the United States in which city? (Answer: San Diego)

The chips are distributed by Good Health Natural Foods in New York and come in two other flavors: Lemon and Rosemary.
