A Naples, Idaho, man suffered minor injuries early Thursday when an Amtrak train hit his pickup.

Donald Pratt, 43, had parked his pickup truck in a turnout near the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway tracks near the intersection of Boundary County roads 2 and 13, according to police.

Pratt parked too close to the railroad tracks and was hit by the passenger train about 2:30 a.m.
