Town To Host Its First Tree-Lighting

Dec. 2 will mark Post Falls’ first Winterfest and tree-lighting event, sponsored by the parks and recreation department, Rotary Club and the library.

The event will begin with a craft program from 1-3 p.m. at the Kindercenter Gym, 205 W. Mullan Ave. Children from preschool to sixth grade are welcome to make craft projects and take them home for $1 plus canned food donation.

At 4:45, a tree-lighting, local choirs, dancers and Santa Claus will be at the library, 821 Spokane St. Tours of the new library will also be offered.
