Vandalism Spree Under Investigation
Kootenai County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a vandalism spree late Friday and early Saturday morning.
Nine people reported vandalism ranging from small fires set in their newspaper boxes to BB pellets being fired at trucks and cars.
Two Harrison businesses, the Rose Cafe and Bar and the U.S. Post Office, were damaged Saturday morning, sheriff’s reports said.
Vandals shot two of the post office’s front windows with a BB gun. A window and the front door to the Rose Cafe and Bar were also shot with a BB gun.
A pickup truck and a car parked in front of the cafe also had their windows shattered, reports said.
Anyone with more information is asked to call the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department at 664-1511.
