Subdivision Hearing Postponed Again

A public hearing concerning a controversial 110-lot subdivision scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Nov. 15 at city hall.

This is the third time Rod Reagan, from Timberline LLC, has postponed a scheduled public hearing before planning and zoning commissioners. Reagan wants to build a 33-acre subdivision on land adjacent to city limits.

Next month he will ask the commission’s approval to annex and rezone an area just south of Lakeland High School.

Opponents of the project say the subdivision would cause traffic problems because the area isn’t aligned with any major streets in Rathdrum.
