Excel Receives $5,000 Donation

The EXCEL Foundation is receiving a $5,000 cash donation from Idaho Trust Co.

The foundation is a nonprofit organization that grants money to Coeur d’Alene public school teachers for unique projects.

The donation will be made Thursday at Idaho Trust’s offices at 608 Northwest Blvd., Suite 300. Money from Idaho Trust will be used to underwrite an event being held to honor public school teachers who are receiving grants from the foundation.

More than $400,000 has been distributed to Coeur d’Alene School District teachers since the foundation began its work in 1988.
